Carbon Steel EN-353 Bars are alloy steel bars with high strength and good wear resistance and toughness. They consist of Carbon (0.10-0.20%), Chromium (0.70-1.10%), Nickel (1.00-1.50%), Manganese (0.50-0.90%), and Molybdenum (0.08-0.15%) to increase hardness and durability. The tensile strength is 700-1000 MPa, yield strength is 400-600 MPa, and hardness is 60-62 HRC following heat treatment. Having high machinability and core toughness, EN-353 bars are used extensively in gears, shafts, and industrial components with a requirement of high surface hardness and outstanding performance under stress.
