Carbon Steel EN-42 Bars are made up of carbon (0.35–0.45%), manganese (0.60–0.90%), silicon (≤0.35%), along with small amounts of sulfur and phosphorus. The bars boast a tensile strength ranging from 600 to 850 MPa and a yield strength of about 350 MPa, all while maintaining good ductility and impact resistance.
