Alloy Steel Grade 91 Coil consists mainly of chromium (8-9.5%), molybdenum (0.85-1.05%), and vanadium (0.18-0.25%), with carbon, manganese, silicon, and trace elements adding to its properties. It has superior mechanical strength with tensile strength of 585 MPa, yield strength of 415 MPa, and good elongation of 20%. Due to the excellent creep resistance, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance, the alloy can be suitably used for applications at high temperature in power stations, petrochemical processes, and boilers that provide extended life and increased efficiency.
