It has carbon (0.28–0.32%), manganese (1.20–1.60%), phosphorus (max 0.030%), sulfur (max 0.030%), and other trace elements such as silicon and copper. Mechanical properties are minimum yield strength of 390 MPa and tensile strength of 550–700 MPa. The pipe has excellent weldability, corrosion resistance, and stress corrosion cracking resistance.
