EN 19 Sheets and Plates are made from alloy steels that include chromium (0.9–1.2%), molybdenum (0.2–0.35%), and manganese (0.5–0.8%), with a carefully controlled carbon content of around 0.36–0.44%. This well-balanced composition results in impressive tensile strength, high fatigue resistance, and superior hardness. The material boasts a tensile strength range of 850–1000 MPa and maintains good impact resistance, even post heat treatment.
