Alloy Steel Gr B7 Fasteners are produced using chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) steel, having mainly carbon (0.37-0.49%), manganese (0.65-1.10%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), sulfur (≤0.040%), silicon (0.15-0.35%), chromium (0.75-1.20%), and molybdenum (0.15-0.25%) as their base elements. The fasteners possess superior mechanical properties in the form of a tensile strength of 125 ksi (860 MPa) and yield strength of 105 ksi (720 MPa). They have a hardness of 35 HRC max for ensuring resistance to wear and durability. Their superior strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance qualify them for key industrial uses.
