Boiler Quality Sheets and Plates mainly consist of carbon (0.15–0.25%), manganese (0.30–0.70%), phosphorus (≤0.025%), and sulfur (≤0.025%). They are known for their impressive mechanical properties, featuring a minimum yield strength of 250–275 MPa, tensile strength of 400–550 MPa, and good elongation. These sheets and plates excel in weldability, toughness, and resistance to high temperatures and pressure, making them ideal for demanding boiler and industrial applications.

Supply Condition :Â As Rolled, Normalized Rolling, Furnace Normalizing, Vacuum Degassing, Simulated Post-Weld Heat Treatment or as per customer requirement.
Impact tested : -52° C
Tempering:Â Notch toughness can be improved by quenched cooling from hot rolling or normalizing by the supplier. If such a faster cooling rate is agreed upon between purchaser and supplier then the steel is also to be tempered at 1200 F.
Applications :Â Used for weld fabrication of pressure vessels that require improved notch toughness for lower than ambient temperature service.
