They contain carbon (0.27–0.31%), manganese (0.79–1.30%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), sulfur (≤0.035%), and silicon (0.13–0.45%) in their composition. The plates have high mechanical properties, including a minimum tensile strength of 485–620 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 260 MPa.
